I was recently reminded of a picture I took that graced the cover of Living Here Magazine, depicting life in Tulare County.
The image of poppies reaching for the sky was taken by Kaweah Lake, not far from Three Rivers, CA. It is a cold winter, but the recent rain is already turning the hillsides green with fresh grass.
The poppies will soon begin to stir as well.
